I have spent over three decades working with computers and technology, building a broad and deep understanding of how systems work — from hardware and networks through to software and cloud services. My experience spans the full lifecycle of IT: designing and building systems, maintaining and upgrading them, and diagnosing and resolving problems when things go wrong.

By trade, I am a senior software engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience. Alongside software development, I have extensive hands-on expertise with desktop and server systems, networking, storage, email, and web platforms, across all major operating systems. I am equally comfortable working at a practical, physical level as I am designing logical systems and architectures.

Over the years, I have helped businesses, customers, friends, and family make sense of technology — whether that means improving reliability, increasing performance, simplifying setups, or just making things work the way they should.
